Lockwood Court Sunday Service
Lockwood Court has a service on a Sunday morning which meets at 10:30am.
Lockwood Court Fellowship (Wednesday)
‘Lockwood Court Fellowship’ meets every Wednesday afternoon at 2:45 pm. Each week there are various activities taking place, with Communion being served every third Wednesday of the month.
Bi- monthly the group has a social time where members hold a ‘bring and buy’ sale. This allows us to support the local community with donations to Christian charities. It also provides donations to local support organisations in and around Yeovil.
‘Lockwood Court Fellowship’ works together to donate to a charity supporting a child in Brazil. We get lovely letters in response to this, with news of progress in that area of the world. This also tells us about the work Christians do in supporting ministry abroad.
The group join together to go out three times a year enjoying local restaurants.
Each week guest speakers talk about the Bible, give personal reflections on what is happening in their walk with God and on occasions show us the talents that they have by giving us demonstrations of their crafts.
We obviously then finish each session with the mandatory cup of tea and cake!!
We welcome both men and women as new members to join us at any time and look forward to having fellowship together. If you would like to know any more details please contact Betty Williams on 01935 479214.
