BB/GB Enrolment Service: Sunday 11th October 2009

Every second Sunday in October the All Age Service includes the enrolment of our BB and GB Companies.  Members of our Brigades make their promises during the service and receive their new membership cards.  Just over 180 folk gathered at South Street for this year's service.

Visit by Chernobyl Children: Sunday 11th October 2009

One of our members, Shirley, is currently hosting two children from Chernobyl.  They are part of a group visiting Yeovil and staying with town families throughout October.  The stay is being organised by the Chernobyl Childrens' Lifeline organisation.

Lockwood Court Harvest: Sunday 20th September 2009

Lockwood Court celebrated Harvest Sunday on 20th September 2009 at 10.30am.  This small group of faithful worshippers come together every Sunday in the lounge of a residential home.  The room was decorated with Harvest produce - all dry goods being given to Yeovil's Lord's Larder project and an offering was taken up for the work of Operation

Farewell to Graham: Sunday 13th September 2009

We have now said 'farewell' to our outgoing BB Captain Graham after 36 years of devoted service.  Just under 200 were in the congregation at South Street on Sunday 13th September 2009 to express their gratitude to Graham and Heather for all they have done for the BB.  Speeches and gifts were made at both the service and the celebratory meal

Trip To Wells: Saturday 12th September 2009

Men's Breakfast: Saturday 12th September 2009

22 men gathered for breakfast on Saturday and heard a fascinating talk about the ministry of the Gideon's from local branch member Mike Bennett.  We learnt that every six days the Gideon's distribute a million bibles!
