Church Picnic and Beach Communion: Sunday 28th June 2009

After morning service on Sunday 28th June 2009 forty of us made our way over to Dorset for a church picnic and beach communion at Burton Bradstock.  The rain held off (just!) as we played a version of rounders/baseball - the score being 16/6 - however, the rules tended to be made up as we went along!  Our afternoon together concluded as we sang hymns and remembered God's love for us in bread and wine.  It was great to make this gentle witness for Christ in the open air.
