The Town Centre Churches sponsored a Quiet Day at The Society of St Frances, Compton Durville, on Saturday 8th May 2009. On a warm spring day we gathered to be led in helpful contemplative prayer by Heather Andrews - who took as her theme: The Lord's Prayer - and the Language of Prayer. Throughout the day those attending were able to make use of the grounds, bookstall and share in the chapel midday Eucharist. We concluded the day with intercessions for the world - placing a night light on a country for which we wanted to pray.
