On Tuesday around forty folk gathered at South Street for the second Holiday at Home of 2009. This ministry amongst Seniors takes the form of morning coffee followed by a service in The Sanctuary, then it's time for a hot meal in the Iona/Columba room cooked by volunteers - with the day finishing with some afternoon entertainment. The folks attending came from various churches, from our Friendship Group or simply neighbours and friends who had been invited along. The team preparing the day spent many hours at church on Tuesday and their hard work was much appreciated by those who attended.
