Remembrance Sunday: 9th November 2008

Over 170 folk attended the Remembrance Sunday service at South Street on 9th November 2008.  It was also our All Age Service with BB and GB Church Parade - so it was great to be able to welcome some parents of our Brigade members too.  The Act of Remembrance was led by a member of our congregation, Mr Ozzie Weller, who served with the Royal Navy in WW2.  Remembrance Sunday is made even more poignant in Yeovil as it is announced by the sirens sounding at the Westland Helicoper Works.
