On Thursday 16th October a member of our congregation Sharon, along with her husband Steve, organised a great Fashion Show in aid of the Nephrotic Sundrome charity, NeST. Members of our Girls' Brigade modelled fashions from the war years ('Make do and mend') to the present day...a well respected Yeovil fashion expert Marion Baker compared the middle section introducing contemporary designs and the evening concluded with a parade of wedding dresses. Over £400 was raised for NeST and this will be sent to the Kidney Unit of the Bristol Children's Hospital to help them withy their research.
