Many people have commented that it was good to welcome so many parents of GB and BB members to church last Sunday at the Enrolment Service; 184 people were in church!  The Brigades really do give us a much appreciated contact with wider society.

The schools must all have gone back now for a new term because outside there is brilliant blue sky and it’s sweltering afternoon!

During the lull of usual activities this week I was able to spend an evening with Tony Overd who has agreed to look after our archives for us.  We have just acquired a splendid fire proof document cabinet in which these will now be stored.  Tony and I had a fascinating time looking through old minute books and papers on Tuesday evening.
