Sunday 14th February 2010: Table Top sale for Haiti

On St Valentine's Day members of our church family enthusiastically supported a table top sale in aid of funds for Haiti.  Over £300 was raised that morning bringing the total the church has raised for the Christian Aid appeal to well over a thousand pounds.

Sunday 14th February 2010: Scaffolding surrounds the church building

14th January 2010: First Deacons' Meeting of the New Year

On Thursday 14th January 2010 we held the first Deacons' Meeting of the New Year.  We proceeded this with a group photo. The Deacons meet every month of the year, except August, to discuss the life of the church with the minister.

25th December 2009: Christmas Day

On Christmas Day we came together to celebrate the birth of The Prince of Peace.  During the service the children showed us some of their presents and we took up an offering for the work of St Margaret's Hospice.

24th December 2009: Christingle Service

On Christmas Eve we gathered in the Sanctuary for a brief moment of worship in the middle of a busy day full of expectation.  During our time together we made some alternative Christingles featuring a Yule Log on a round plate topped by a candle.  The makeshift symbolism reminding us of the wood of the c
